About this fabric

This colourway of Balmoral FR combines a subdued natural ground with gentle beige and taupe crossing lines, creating a quiet plaid that reads relaxed and classic. The fabric is 140cm wide and made from 78% polyester and 22% cotton, giving it a practical woven handle suited to everyday interiors. Its 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat is generous enough for the check to read clearly across larger pieces, yet the overall tone remains soft and understated. The finish visible in the swatch has a dry, textile character rather than shine, which helps the warm neutrals sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary schemes.

How to use it

Use it on relaxed upholstery, dining chairs or curtains where the soft check can bring warmth without dominating. It works especially well with pale woods, stone colours and natural textures.

Pair with oak, linen and brushed metals for a calm country look.
