About this fabric

This fabric is 140cm wide and made from 78% polyester and 22% cotton, with a 32cm vertical repeat and 35.5cm horizontal repeat. The surface has the look of a sturdy woven cloth, with the check formed by deep mulberry bands over a muted beige ground. Cream lines thread through the pattern to lift the darker stripes and keep the design from feeling heavy. The overall effect is cosy and heritage-led, with enough structure to suit furniture and soft furnishings alike.

How to use it

Use this mulberry check on an upholstered chair, ottoman or window seat where its warm colour can anchor the room. It pairs neatly with aged oak, brushed brass and plain natural linens in softer clay or mushroom tones.
