About this fabric

Woven in 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, Balmoral FR Ocean has the familiar structure of a checked fabric with a crisp, medium-weight handle suited to upholstery. The 140cm width and 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal pattern repeat make it practical for larger pieces where the check needs to be matched neatly. In this colourway, pale blue bands sit against oat-beige ground tones, while muted red pinstripes add just enough contrast to keep the design lively. The weave reads slightly brushed and softly textured, giving the fabric a relaxed, lived-in character without losing its clean check geometry.

How to use it

Use this colourway on armchairs, dining seats or cushions where you want a calm coastal note with a tailored finish. It pairs well with light oak, chalky whites and natural linens, and the blue keeps the room feeling cool and open.
