About this fabric

This colourway pairs saturated pillar-box and oxblood reds with soft brown, beige and charcoal check lines, giving the design a warmer, more rustic feel than a cooler red plaid. The visible weave reads as a sturdy upholstery-weight fabric, and the 140cm width makes it practical for larger projects. It is composed of 78% polyester and 22% cotton, with a 32cm vertical repeat and 35.5cm horizontal repeat. The surface has a flat, closely woven finish that keeps the check definition sharp and the red accents clear without appearing glossy.

How to use it

Use Rosso on an armchair, bench seat or headboard if you want a traditional country note with plenty of colour. It also works well with oak, worn leather and natural linens, where the red check can act as the room’s warm focal point.

A classic checked cloth that adds warmth and country character to smartened-up seating.
