About this fabric

This colourway combines raspberry pink, sky blue, pale cream and muted sage-beige into a generous tartan-style check that reads cheerful rather than heavy. The woven surface has a soft, slightly nubby textile character, and the intersecting stripes create plenty of movement without losing clarity. At 140cm wide, with a 32cm vertical and 35.5cm horizontal repeat, it is a substantial patterned fabric that gives the check room to breathe across larger pieces. The composition is 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, offering a practical mix for everyday interiors, and the BQV1< care instruction should be followed to preserve the finish.

How to use it

Use Sorbet to brighten a cottage-style armchair, bench cushion or Roman blind, especially where the pink and blue lines can echo painted woodwork or upholstered accents. It works particularly well in light, informal rooms that benefit from a fresh checked pattern with a clean, airy ground.

Fresh and cheerful, ideal for relaxed seating or light curtains where the check can feel bright but not overpowering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
