About this fabric

This Watermelon colourway has a light, candy pink base with warm beige-olive overchecks and deeper plum-pink pinstripes, giving the tartan pattern a gentle, slightly nostalgic look. The weave reads as a practical furnishing cloth rather than a lofty drape, with enough body to hold the check clearly across the surface. It is supplied at 140cm wide and woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, with a 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. Care code BQV1< is supplied for this exact fabric. The overall effect is bright but softened, so the colour feels cheerful without becoming overly vivid.

How to use it

Use it to bring lift to an upholstered chair, ottoman or valance where the pink ground can be balanced by painted wood and natural timber. It also works well in a relaxed scheme with cream linens and muted sage accents.
