Cupani

Belvedere FabricF8086

Cupani in Belvedere is a soft blush-pink floral with trailing vines, green leaves and pale seed pods across a calm, powdery ground. The palette feels light and airy, with the botanical pattern standing out gently rather than sharply.

About this fabric

Cupani (F8086) is a substantial upholstery fabric at 520gsm and 140cm wide, with a 38,000 rub test and a UK BS5852 cigarette upholstery rating. The visible ground is a warm, powder-pink tone that gives the foliage a softer edge than a crisp white or cool neutral would. Mottled greens, sage stems and pale yellow-green highlights keep the large trailing botanical repeat looking fresh and painterly. Made in Italy from 49% CO, 46% VI and 5% PL, this is a decorative cloth with enough body for cushions, chairs and statement upholstery, and it can also be treated for match, Crib 5 or curtain use.

How to use it

Use Cupani on an accent chair, ottoman or blind where the blush ground can soften a room without disappearing. It works especially well with timber, vintage brass and quiet green accents that pick up the leaves in the print.

Pair with pale oak, woven grasscloth and brass for a fresh, English-country feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cupani without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
