About this fabric

Bistro (F8106) is woven in 100% polyester and measures 140cm wide, with a 45,000 rub test and a weight of 210gsm, making it a practical choice for interior use. The design reads as a busy, layered collage of hand-drawn vases, jars, tableware and geometric forms, all set against a cool mint background. Coral pink, soft yellow, sage, teal and olive notes sit together in a lively palette that feels bright but not overly saturated. Its medium weight and robust performance make it suitable for both upholstery and curtains, provided it is FR treated where required; it is treatable to BS5852 Match and Crib 5 upholstery and to BS5867 Part 2 Type B curtain standards. Made in the United Kingdom, it has the personality of a feature fabric rather than a quiet coordinate.

How to use it

Use Bistro to bring colour to a dining chair, ottoman or occasional armchair, where the mint ground keeps the pattern feeling crisp rather than heavy. It also works well for relaxed curtains in a kitchen, garden room or informal sitting room, echoing its cheerful, vintage-inspired palette.

Use for statement upholstery or lively curtains with a fresh, summery feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
