Dahlia Cobalt

Digital Prints Fabric

Dahlia Cobalt brings a lively botanical print to a soft linen-look ground, with oversized leaves and small flower clusters spread across the surface. The cobalt blues and lilac accents feel cool and fresh against the pale beige base.

About this fabric

Printed on a 50% cotton, 50% linen ground, Dahlia Cobalt has the dry, natural texture you can see in the lightly slubbed background. The 150cm width and 64cm pattern repeat make it practical for larger-scale making, while the design itself is dominated by painterly blue leaves, soft lilac foliage and pale aqua blossoms. The cobalt tones are clear and saturated rather than dark, giving the pattern a crisp, airy feel. It reads as a relaxed decorative fabric with enough visual movement to hold attention without feeling heavy.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need a cool focal point, especially against warm white walls or pale oak. Use it for curtains, cushions or a statement chair to balance the fresh blues with natural textures.

Use with pale timber, chalky neutrals and woven textures to let the vivid leaf print stay fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
