Holyrood Charcoal
Digital Prints Fabric
Holyrood Charcoal pairs a deep charcoal ground with an ivory botanical print that feels crisp and graphic rather than soft or diffuse. The large-scale leaves and flower heads stand out clearly against the dark background, giving the design a confident, tailored presence.

About this fabric
This 100% cotton fabric is 150cm wide and has a 64cm vertical repeat with a 69cm horizontal repeat, so the oversized foliage pattern reads in generous panels. The charcoal ground has a slightly textured, woven look that keeps the surface from appearing flat, while the pale leaf work and clustered blossoms lift sharply from it. In this colourway, the contrast is cool and restrained, with the ivory motifs reading more like chalky parchment than bright white. That balance gives Holyrood Charcoal a smart, contemporary edge while still keeping the botanical detail visible and decorative.
How to use it
Use it for statement curtains, cushions or a feature armchair where the dark ground can anchor a room. It works especially well with pale woods, brushed metal and plain linens, letting the charcoal-and-ivory palette do the talking.
The high-contrast charcoal ground gives the ivory foliage a crisp, tailored look.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Holyrood Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
