Holyrood Indigo

Digital Prints Fabric

Holyrood Indigo sets creamy botanical stems and leaves against a richly dark blue ground, creating a crisp, high-contrast look. The print feels expansive and lively, with the foliage drifting across the cloth in a relaxed, layered arrangement.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton, Holyrood Indigo has a clear natural handle and a textile surface that lets the indigo ground read slightly textured beneath the motif. The design repeats at 64cm vertically and 69cm horizontally, giving the large-scale leafy pattern real presence across upholstery or curtains. In this colourway the background is a deep navy-indigo rather than a bright blue, so the ivory foliage feels sharper and more graphic. The overall effect is smart and decorative, with enough depth in the ground to hold its own in both classic and contemporary schemes.

How to use it

Use Holyrood Indigo on a statement armchair, occasional sofa, or full-length drapes where the dark ground can anchor a room. It works especially well with chalk whites, weathered oak, and muted metallic accents.

Pair with pale neutrals and timber to let the ivory foliage stand out against the dark ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
