About this fabric

Printed on a 50% cotton and 50% linen base, Mardi Gras Indigo has the lightly slubby character you expect from a natural fibre cloth rather than a smooth coated finish. The design is full of rounded leaf forms and slender white stems, creating a lively trailing pattern across the 150cm width. Its 64cm vertical repeat and 69cm horizontal repeat make it a bold, statement-scale fabric with strong movement from edge to edge. The indigo ground reads cool and slightly moody, while the brighter teal and blue notes keep the overall effect fresh rather than dark.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern and colour to carry the room, especially on accent chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains. It pairs well with painted wood, pale oak and crisp white trims, which let the cool indigo and aqua tones stand out.

The cool indigo ground and leaf pattern give this cloth a lively, contemporary feel.
