Porter & Stone

Santa Cruz Teal

Digital Prints Fabric

Santa Cruz Teal brings a softly weathered geometric pattern to a warm, light ground. The teal outlining sits alongside terracotta, ochre and sand tones, giving the design a sun-faded, artisan feel.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric from the Digital Prints collection is woven in 53% cotton, 33% viscose and 14% linen, with a 140cm width and a 95cm vertical repeat by 34.5cm horizontal repeat. The pattern reads as a large-scale ikat-style lattice of diamonds and elongated lozenges, with small decorative motifs breaking up the repeat. In this colourway, the teal is muted rather than bright, so it sits comfortably against the beige ground while the rust and gold accents add warmth. The surface has a soft, textural look that suits a relaxed interior scheme without feeling flat or plain.

How to use it

Use Santa Cruz Teal on a statement chair, ottoman or cushions where the teal and terracotta palette can play against oak, walnut or woven natural textures. It also works well in a layered room with stone, linen and aged brass, where the slightly faded blue-green tones can add colour without heaviness.

Pair this laid-back ikat-style print with natural woods and warm neutrals to let the teal accents stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
