About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, with a 140cm width and a 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat. The check reads as muted and earthy rather than bright, with the heathered base giving the reds and olives a mellow, timeworn depth. Fine intersecting lines sharpen the larger blocks, while the cream accents lift the overall pattern and keep it from feeling too heavy. It is a textile with an easy, traditional character that works well where a classic woven check is wanted.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a country armchair, banquette, or window seat where its warm beige base and wine-red accents can bring in colour without overpowering the room. It also pairs neatly with natural wood, aged leather and painted finishes in cream or olive.
