About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, giving the check a practical cloth handle with a matt, textile finish. The 140cm width makes it useful for both upholstery and drapery projects, and the 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat creates a confident large-scale plaid. In this colourway, the cranberry red bands read deep and насыщенный against the paler ground, while the darker cross lines add definition without making the design feel heavy. The overall effect is warm, traditional and slightly heritage-inspired, with enough visual depth to sit comfortably in a busy room.

How to use it

Pair it with painted wood, leather and plain linens to let the cranberry check become the focal point. It works especially well in a study, kitchen banquette or country-style curtain treatment where its warm red tone feels inviting.
