About this fabric

Woven in 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, Balmoral FR Cherry combines a classic checked layout with a hard-working cloth handle suited to upholstery use. The 140cm width and 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat make the plaid read clearly across larger pieces, while the colour mix stays balanced between vivid red, soft grey and darker charcoal lines. In this colourway the red feels energetic rather than dark or wine-like, so the design has a fresher, more country-house character. The cooler greys temper the brightness and give the surface a neat, tailored look.

How to use it

Use it on a feature armchair, bench seat or dining chairs where the cherry red can add lift without overwhelming the room. It pairs well with pale painted wood, stone neutrals and simple stripes or plains in muted grey.

Pair with plain greys, oatmeal linens or dark wood for a crisp country look.
