Lola Stripe Red Riding Hood

Lola Fabric

Wide terracotta-red stripes sit against a soft cream ground, giving this Linen cloth a relaxed country-house feel. The woven linen texture keeps the colourway honest and tactile rather than glossy.

About this fabric

Lola Stripe Red Riding Hood is a 100% linen fabric with an overall width of 137cm and a fixed upholstery use, with a General Domestic rating and 30,000 Martindale durability. The stripe reads as a muted, earthy red rather than a bright primary, softened by the natural cream background and the lightly slubby linen weave. A narrow scalloped accent line in a dusty blue-grey runs beside each stripe, adding definition without sharpening the palette. It is machine washable at 30C with an allowance for 3% shrinkage, and should be dry cleaned for after care. FR rating is A, conforming to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, bench or dining seat where the warm red stripes can bring structure without feeling overbearing. It works especially well with oak, worn leather and painted cream woodwork.

Pair with warm neutrals and timber for a classic upholstered look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
