About this fabric
This upholstery fabric is made from 47% Viscose, 30% Cotton, 8% Polyester and 15% Linen, giving the weave a natural, tactile look with a slightly dry handle visible in the cloth. The 11cm vertical pattern repeat creates a neat, regular zigzag that gives the colourway a tailored feel. In Carmine, the red sits on the warm side, softened by lighter yarns so it appears more coral and terracotta-leaning than a flat primary red. With a 25,000 Martindale rub test and an upholstery grade of Contract, General Domestic, it is well suited to fixed seating as well as statement occasional pieces. It is also FR rated to A, conforming to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 (Cigarette) and 1 (Match), and should be dry cleaned.
How to use it
Use Lamina Carmine on an accent chair, banquette or headboard where the warm red can bring energy without overwhelming the room. It pairs especially well with oak, warm white and muted stone tones, which allow the zigzag texture to stand out.
