About this fabric
This colourway in the Chesil collection is made from 47% viscose, 30% cotton, 8% polyester and 15% linen, giving it a refined woven handle with visible texture. The fabric is supplied at approximately 137cm wide, has an 11cm vertical pattern repeat and is intended for fixed upholstery. With a Martindale rub test of 25,000 and an upholstery grade suited to contract and general domestic use, it is a practical choice for seating that needs both structure and style. The FR rating conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the fabric should be dry cleaned. Visually, the sapphire shade feels cool and насыщated, with the narrow woven bars creating a neat, almost architectural effect across the cloth.
How to use it
Use Lamina Sapphire on an armchair, dining chair or bench where the deep blue can sit beside walnut, brass or pale oak. Its restrained pattern and cool tone also work well in a scheme with chalky neutrals and other blue textiles.
