About this fabric
Woven in a blend of 6% polyester, 25% cotton, 21% linen and 48% viscose, this fabric has a dry, tactile handle that suits structured seating. The 30,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grade of Contract, General Domestic make it well suited to fixed upholstery, and it is rated A for BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1. Its 137cm width and approximately 18cm vertical pattern repeat are practical for planning repeats across larger pieces. Visually, the colourway is a muted bluestone blue on a light natural ground, with the small linear motif giving it a smart, rhythmic look.
How to use it
Use Strata Bluestone on a sofa, banquette or dining chair where the cool blue and soft neutral base can brighten darker timber or painted joinery. It pairs neatly with chalky whites, weathered oak and muted olive accents for a composed, modern scheme.
