Bowie Prussian

West FabricL9074-11

Bowie in Prussian is a cool, restrained blue with a softly worked surface and a calm, even look across the cloth. The colour sits between slate and teal, giving the fabric depth without reading bright.

About this fabric

Bowie in Prussian from Larsen’s West collection is a plain fabric with no visible repeat, making the colour and texture the main feature. It is woven in a 50% Acrylic, 30% Viscose, 15% Cotton, 5% Polyamide blend, with an approximate width of 140cm. The finish looks slightly brushed and matte, so the blue reads as a muted Prussian tone rather than a glossy navy. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it presents as a considered textile for both seating and soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use this shade to ground lighter schemes in chalk, stone or pale oak, where its cool blue-green cast adds quiet depth. It also pairs well with blackened metal and natural linen for a sharper, more contemporary room.

A cool, tailored blue that works neatly on upholstery and curtains alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
