Inca Sunset Maroon

Inca Fabric

Inca Sunset Maroon shows a bold lattice of soft cream and blush lines set over a rich maroon ground. The overall effect is warm, dim and slightly velvety, with the pattern reading clearly against the deeper base.

About this fabric

This colourway from Linwood’s Inca collection is a versatile fabric for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a 137cm width and an approximate 46.5cm vertical pattern repeat. The ground is a deep wine-maroon with a gently mottled surface that softens the contrast and gives the geometric diamond layout more depth. The pale zigzag stripes in cream, beige and muted blush bring a lighter, tailored edge that keeps the design from feeling too heavy. With a composition of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose plus an Eco SR finish, it also carries stain resistance and a strong 100000 Martindale rub test.

How to use it

This shade works well on a statement chair, banquette or curtains where the maroon base can sit against walnut, brass and tobacco leather. Pair it with taupe, ivory or olive accents to balance the richness and keep the geometry crisp.

Use with warm neutrals and dark woods to let the lattice pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
