Panorama Spice shows a dark, richly layered pattern where deep red threads sit against blackened ground tones. Small flecks and horizontal striations give the surface a lively, textured look.

About this fabric

Panorama Spice from Larsen’s Tome collection is a 136cm wide fabric in 65% viscose, 27% cotton and 8% polyester, with a repeat of V 75cm / H 34cm approx. The visible colourway is a very dark spice red, tempered by near-black ground areas and scattered warm highlights that read like tiny ember-like specks. Its woven surface feels textural rather than flat, with the colour broken into short, horizontal bands that add movement across the cloth. The overall effect is smart and atmospheric, with enough visual depth to hold its own on larger pieces without feeling loud. The supplied fire code is K, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

This colourway works well on statement upholstery, especially where the room already contains walnut, brass or black accents. It also suits heavier curtains or soft furnishings when you want a warm, moody red that stays grounded rather than bright.

Use with warm timber and dark metals to bring out the fabric’s rich, textured depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
