About this fabric

Omega Velvet 4 Cherry Red is a plain velvet with a smooth, saturated finish that gives the fabric a strong sense of depth in the light. The colour is a vivid but shaded cherry red rather than a bright primary red, so it feels warm, dramatic and slightly softened at the edges. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is specified for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery, with an impressive 100,000 Martindale rub test and a 137cm width. It is also rated for Contract and General Domestic use and conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, while the stain-resistant finish and 30°C care instructions make it practical as well as luxurious.
