About this fabric

This colourway sits in a cool, muted cream with a faint grey undertone, so it feels fresh rather than yellow. The velvet pile gives the surface a quiet sheen that shifts subtly as the light moves across it, helping the shade appear softer and slightly deeper at the edges. With a composition of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and an impressive 100,000 Martindale rub test, it is made for both General Domestic and Contract upholstery. The 137cm width and plain pattern repeat make it straightforward for fixed and loose cover work, while the BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 rating adds practical peace of mind.

How to use it

Use Cloud on relaxed sofas, tailored headboards or dining chairs where you want a clean neutral with a gentle matte-lustre finish. It pairs especially well with pale timber, chalky paint tones and layered taupe or stone accents.
