Omega Velvet 4 Cognac

Omega Velvet 4 Velvet076

This Cognac colourway reads as a warm, burnished caramel with a soft velvet sheen that deepens at the edges of the pile. The finish feels smooth and close, with light catching the surface rather than reflecting it harshly.

About this fabric

Omega Velvet 4 Cognac is a plain velvet from Linwood’s Omega IV collection, woven in 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose. The cloth has a substantial, upholstered handle and a dense pile that gives this shade its rich, glowing cognac tone. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and upholstery grade for both Contract and General Domestic use, it is built for hard-working seating as well as curtains. The 137cm width and plain pattern make it straightforward to cut and use, while the BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 fire rating adds reassurance in busy interiors. Stain resistant and washable with care at 30C, it is a practical velvet with a polished, amber-brown character.

How to use it

Use this cognac velvet on an armchair, banquette or headboard to add warmth against stone, taupe or dark wood. It also makes elegant curtains where the rich brown-gold tone can catch the light softly.

A warm cognac velvet that brings a tailored, inviting glow to seating or soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
