About this fabric

Woven in 30% Cotton, 25% Viscose, 15% Linen and 30% Wool, this cloth has a dry, tactile handle that shows the weave clearly in the light. The 137cm width and plain repeat make it straightforward for curtains, loose covers and fixed upholstery, while the 40,000 Martindale rub test supports contract and general domestic use. Its BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 compliance, plus stain-resistant dry-clean care, add practicality to the warm melon-brown surface. The finish reads matte and grounded, with subtle tonal movement that keeps the shade from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use Pluto Melon on a sofa or bench with walnut timber, travertine and aged brass for a warm, tailored scheme. As curtains, its earthy terracotta note brings softness and depth without overpowering a room.

A warm, earthy melon tone that softens clean-lined furniture and hangs well in easy, layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
