About this fabric

This colourway shows a grounded turmeric-orange tone, softened by the velvet pile so it feels warm rather than bright. The surface has the plush, light-catching appearance expected of a velvet, with a plain repeat that keeps the focus on colour and texture. It is composed of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and is suitable for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery. With a 137cm width, 100,000 Martindale rub test and Contract, General Domestic upholstery grade, it is a practical choice where a durable velvet is needed. It also conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be dry cleaned or washed with care at 30C.

How to use it

Use Turmeric to add warmth to neutral upholstery schemes, especially alongside oak, linen and muted green accents. In curtains or a tailored armchair, the shade brings a cosy, vintage-inspired richness without looking too heavy.
