About this fabric
This plain velvet colourway has an even, close finish and a warm tawny-brown depth that softens beautifully in the light. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it balances a plush handle with the practicality expected of a contract-quality cloth. The fabric is 137cm wide and has a Martindale rub test of 100,000, making it suitable for General Domestic and Contract upholstery as well as curtains and loose covers. It is also BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 compliant, and the after-care notes specify dry clean, delicate wash at 30°C, dry line and no ironing or tumble drying.
How to use it
Use this tawny shade on a sofa or banquette to add warmth to timber-led schemes and earthy palettes. It also works well for curtains where you want a heavier, hotel-style finish with a softly luminous surface.
A rich tawny velvet that brings warmth and depth to tailored seating and soft furnishings.

Pairs well with
Omega Velvet 4 Tawny is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
