About this fabric

This Pluto colourway shows a plain, tightly woven cloth with a subtle linen-like texture and a low, matte finish. The dark truffle tone is a warm brown-black mix, with just enough softness in the weave to stop it looking flat. Made from 30% Cotton, 25% Viscose, 15% Linen and 30% Wool, it has the natural depth and touch of a smart upholstery fabric while still working well at the window. With a Martindale rub test of 40,000 and upholstery grade for Contract and General Domestic use, it is a robust choice for fixed or loose cover pieces as well as curtains. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be Dry Cleaned, with Stain Resistant performance noted.

How to use it

Use Dark Truffle to ground a scheme with oak, tan leather or aged brass, where its warm brown depth can add structure without feeling stark. It also works well for lined curtains in a study, drawing room or dining space that needs a calm, tailored finish.
