About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep cornflower blue with a slightly teal cast, softened by the blend of cotton, viscose, linen and wool. The texture is visible in the fine, crosshatched weave, which catches the light gently rather than reflecting it. With a 137cm width and a 40,000 Martindale rub test, it is well suited to both loose cover and fixed upholstery as well as curtains. Its plain pattern and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 fire rating make it a practical choice for contract and general domestic settings. Dry clean care and stain resistance add to its everyday usability.

How to use it

Use Pluto Cornflower where you want colour without a strong pattern: it will bring a polished, cool note to sofa upholstery or clean-lined curtains. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and soft grey, which let the blue-green depth stay crisp.

A versatile blue with a cool, tailored feel for curtains or upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
