About this fabric
Woven in 63% linen and 37% cotton, Hermia River has the dry, textural character you can see in the cloth’s softly slubby ground and neat raised patterning. It is supplied at approximately 128cm wide with a 4cm vertical repeat, and the 10,000 Martindale result supports its Decorative Upholstery classification for lighter domestic use. The colourway balances a cool blue ground with chalky white stripe elements and slender golden lines, so the overall effect is fresh but grounded rather than bright. After care is dry clean only, and as an L Exempt non-FR fabric it should be used with a schedule 3 (FR) interliner where required.
How to use it
Use Hermia River for tailored curtains or statement cushions where the blue ground can cool a room with natural oak, painted joinery or pale stone. The ochre striping adds just enough warmth to sit comfortably in a coastal, country or classic scheme.
Pairs easily with warm neutrals and natural woods for a calm, tailored look.
