About this fabric
Woven in 63% linen and 37% cotton, Hermia Field has the natural handle and lightly relaxed surface you would expect from a decorative upholstery fabric. The 128cm width and approximately 4cm vertical repeat make the stripe easy to plan for curtains and cushions, while the 10,000 Martindale rating suits lighter upholstery use where a softer look is wanted. In this Field colourway, the cream ground reads warm rather than stark, with fresh green bands and slim ochre wavy stripes giving it a bright but subdued country-house character. Dry clean care helps preserve the crispness of the pattern and the subtle texture in the weave.
How to use it
Use Hermia Field to bring a sunlit, spring-like lift to cushions, café curtains or a loose cover on a decorative chair. Its cream base and fresh green detailing sit especially well with pale woods, painted joinery and natural linens.
