About this fabric
Woven in 63% linen and 37% cotton, Hermia Peony has the dry, natural handle you would expect from a decorative upholstery fabric while still sitting comfortably in curtains and cushions. The 128cm width and approximate 4cm vertical repeat make the stripe easy to plan across larger drops or cushion runs. Its 10,000 Martindale rating supports decorative upholstery use, though the palette and weave read especially well in soft furnishing applications. The pale pink base is warm rather than sugary, while the coral scallops, mustard stripe sections and tiny teal dots give it a playful, handcrafted rhythm.
How to use it
Use Hermia Peony in a sunlit room where the soft pink ground can warm white walls and keep the stripes lively. It works particularly well with rattan, blonde timber and plain linens, or as a contrast against deeper sage or teal accents.
