Omega Velvet 4 Pink Lace

Omega Velvet 4 Velvet118

Omega Velvet 4 Pink Lace reads as a very pale blush cream with a gently warm, airy feel. The velvet surface gives it a soft, luminous finish that catches the light subtly rather than boldly.

About this fabric

This plain velvet has the plush, close pile associated with a smart upholstery and curtain fabric, and the swatch shows a delicate pink-cream cast rather than a strong pink. The composition is 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, giving it a smooth, resilient handle suited to everyday use. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and upholstery grading for Contract and General Domestic, it is well placed for both loose-cover and fixed upholstery as well as curtains. It is 137cm wide, FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the aftercare calls for careful 30C washing or dry cleaning.

How to use it

Its pale blush tone works beautifully with oak, limestone and brushed brass, where the velvet sheen can soften harder finishes. Use it for a tailored sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtains when you want a light, elegant colour that still feels warm.

A refined blush velvet that adds warmth without overwhelming a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
