About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted cream with a gentle yellow-beige cast, softened further by the subtle slub and weave visible across the surface. The fabric is composed of 30% Cotton, 25% Viscose, 15% Linen and 30% Wool, which gives it a natural-looking texture and a refined, dry handle. With an approximate width of 137cm, a Martindale rub test of 40,000 and upholstery grading for Contract and General Domestic use, it is well suited to hard-working schemes. It is also FR rated A, conforming to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and is specified for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery, Dual Purpose and Fixed Upholstery. Dry clean care and stain-resistant performance make this a practical choice as well as an elegant one.

How to use it

Use Yorkstone where you want a warm light neutral that won’t feel stark, especially on sofas, armchairs or relaxed curtains. It pairs naturally with oak, sandstone, putty and soft sage for a calm layered room.

A calm pale neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
