About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted mustard-gold ground with lighter, silky flecks that catch the light across the weave. The fabric is a 30% Cotton, 25% Viscose, 15% Linen, 30% Wool blend, giving it the dry, textural character visible in the swatch while still feeling refined. With an approximate width of 137cm and a plain pattern repeat, it suits curtains, loose covers, dual purpose use and fixed upholstery. A 40,000 Martindale rub test and Contract / General Domestic upholstery grade make it a practical choice where a smart but relaxed finish is wanted. It is after-care labelled Dry Clean and Stain Resistant, and is rated A to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use Sandcastle to add warmth to neutral schemes, especially alongside oak, stone and chalky off-whites. Its mellow gold tone also works well with deep greens or earthy browns for a grounded, layered look.
