Marajo Mustard

Mundo FabricL9479-03

Marajo Mustard brings a soft mustard-gold ground to the Mundo collection, lifted by a small, rhythmic woven motif across the surface. The overall effect is warm and quietly textural rather than bold.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is composed of 75% cotton, 11% acrylic, 11% virgin wool and 3% polyester, with an approximate width of 128cm and a repeat of V 42cm / H 16cm. In this colourway, the ground reads as a gentle cream-beige washed with muted mustard, while the motif appears in a slightly deeper gold-brown that gives the pattern definition without heavy contrast. The weave has a crisp, tactile look that suggests enough structure for upholstery as well as suitably tailored drapery and occasional soft furnishings. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code support its practical use in interior schemes where a decorative, natural-feeling textile is needed.

How to use it

Use Marajo Mustard on an accent chair, bench or structured curtains where its warm golden notes can sit against oak, walnut or brushed brass. It works especially well with chalky neutrals and tobacco-toned leathers, which let the small-scale pattern read clearly.

Pair with warm woods and plain linens to let the rhythmic motif and mustard tone lead.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
