Marajo Sea Glass

Mundo FabricL9479-04

Marajo Sea Glass reads as a soft, airy teal with a gently weathered, sea-worn quality. The small-scale woven pattern gives the colourway a subtle movement rather than a flat surface.

About this fabric

This colourway combines a pale sea-glass ground with a slightly darker green-grey pattern, so the overall effect feels cool, calm and lightly desaturated. The woven motif has a delicate, irregular rhythm that becomes more visible at close range, while the 75% cotton content keeps the handle natural and softly matte. With 11% acrylic, 11% virgin wool and 3% polyester, the fabric has enough structure for upholstery as well as a considered drape for curtains, and the approx. 128cm width makes it practical for wider applications. The repeat is V 42cm / H 16cm approx, which supports the design’s ordered yet organic look.

How to use it

Use Marajo Sea Glass to bring a fresh, restrained note to upholstered chairs, banquettes or cushions, especially alongside pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal finishes. It also works well for drapery where its cool teal haze can soften a room without adding heavy colour.

A cool, softly textured sea-glass tone that works neatly across tailored upholstery and polished drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
