Kuba Sea Glass

Kuba FabricL9457-02

Kuba Sea Glass shows the Kuba pattern in a cool, muted teal with pale stitched-looking marks set across the surface. The effect is crisp but softened by the tone, giving the design a calm, weathered feel.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is composed of 60% viscose and 40% cotton, with an approximate width of 138cm and a repeat of V 33cm / H 35cm. The ground reads as a subdued sea-glass teal, while the motif is picked out in a lighter, linen-like shade that lifts the surface without making it bright. The small geometric pattern feels orderly and rhythmic, with the tiny dash marks creating a hand-worked texture across the cloth. Its balanced cotton-viscose composition and controlled repeat make it a strong choice for upholstery, especially where you want pattern without heaviness. The overall look is cool, smart and quietly decorative rather than bold.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or occasional sofa where the teal ground can add colour without overpowering the room. It pairs neatly with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal accents.

A cool, textured teal that works well on tailored seating or statement cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
