Masai Chocolate

Kuba FabricL9470-04

Masai Chocolate shows the Kuba design in a deep, warm brown with a softly striated, leaf-like texture across the surface. The pattern reads tonal rather than high-contrast, giving the cloth a grounded, tactile look.

About this fabric

Woven in 63% viscose and 37% cotton, this fabric has a supple, slightly lustrous handle that suits more structured decorative use. The repeat is approximately V 53cm / H 35cm, creating a medium-scale pattern that settles into a steady rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the brown is rich and cocoa-toned, with lighter and darker threads catching the light to reveal the raised, feathered motif. The overall effect is warm, earthy and quietly smart, with enough texture to add interest without feeling busy.

How to use it

Use Masai Chocolate on an armchair, ottoman or bench where its warm brown depth can anchor the room. It also works well with parchment, tobacco leather and aged brass for a calm, tailored scheme.

A rich chocolate tone with subtle woven movement for tailored seating or deep drapery accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
