Wabi Tobacco

Kochi FabricL9425-05

Wabi Tobacco is a warm, earthy colourway with a softly variegated woven surface that reads natural and grounded in the photo. The blend of lighter slubs and deeper brown threads gives it a dry, tactile look rather than a flat solid colour.

About this fabric

Wabi Tobacco from the Kochi collection by Larsen is a fabric with a clearly visible linen-led texture and a calm, matte finish. The 140cm approximate width and 0cm vertical/horizontal repeat make it straightforward for upholstery or drapery projects that call for a plain, textural cloth. Its composition of 53% Linen, 19% Cotton, 16% Viscose, 8% Polyamide and 4% Acrylic helps explain the slightly irregular weave and the subtle tonal shifts across the surface. In this tobacco shade, the brown sits on the warm side, with muted caramel and taupe notes catching the light across the weave. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

This warm tobacco tone works especially well with oak, leather and soft cream finishes, where its earthy depth can anchor a room. It is a strong choice for relaxed upholstery or full-length curtains when you want texture more than pattern.

Use for upholstery or curtains where a warm, quietly textured finish is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
