Tatami Sea Blue

Kochi FabricL9421-09

Tatami Sea Blue is a softly muted blue with a cool, misted finish and an understated, finely woven surface. The close plain texture gives it a calm, even appearance across the full width of the fabric.

About this fabric

From Larsen’s Kochi collection, Tatami Sea Blue is a fabric with a 148cm approximate width and a no-repeat design, making its small-scale woven texture the focus rather than any motif. The blend of 41% cotton, 34% polyester and 25% viscose gives the cloth a neat, lightly tailored hand with a gentle textile softness. Visually, this colourway reads as a pale sea-blue with a greyed, chalky cast, so it feels cooler and more restrained than a bright aqua. Its fine surface catches the light subtly, which helps the shade stay fresh without becoming shiny. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact quality.

How to use it

Use this misty blue as a quiet upholstery or curtain fabric where you want colour without strong contrast. It pairs well with pale oak, chalk white and deeper navy accents, letting the soft blue-grey tone keep the room calm.

A calm blue-grey neutral that works cleanly across upholstery and window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
