About this fabric

Tatami Sand from Larsen’s Kochi collection is a fabric with a plain, close weave and no visible repeat, making the texture the main feature. The 41% cotton, 34% polyester and 25% viscose composition gives it a smooth, slightly matte handle that looks light and even across the surface. At approximately 148cm wide, it is a practical width for both upholstery and drapery projects. This colourway sits in a soft sand cream tone with a gentle warmth, so it feels brighter than beige but more grounded than ivory.

How to use it

Use Tatami Sand to soften modern seating, slim Roman blinds or relaxed curtains where a warm neutral is needed. Its pale sandy tone layers well with oak, pale plaster, linen white and muted taupe.

A warm neutral that works neatly across cushions, blinds and upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
