Tatami Cream

Kochi FabricL9421-03

Tatami Cream is a quiet, warm cream with a subtle woven texture that reads clean and understated in the cloth. Its fine surface catches the light gently, giving the colour a soft, airy depth rather than a flat pale tone.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a very light cream ground with a faint warm cast, so it feels soft rather than stark white. The weave has a refined, even texture that is visible across the surface, adding just enough structure to keep the fabric from looking plain. With a composition of 41% cotton, 34% polyester and 25% viscose, and a width of approximately 148cm, it is a versatile textile for both upholstery and drapery. The zero vertical and horizontal repeat means the finish is uncomplicated and easy to work with, while the Q 8 + T 3 care code and K fire code support practical contract use.

How to use it

Use Tatami Cream where you want a calm, lightening effect without a cold white finish. It works especially well against oak, pale stone and muted taupe accents, where its warm cream tone keeps the room feeling soft and cohesive.

A soft cream neutral that suits clean upholstery and light, understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
