Zocalo Linen

Espectro Weaves FabricCCF0858-03

Zocalo Linen presents a softly mottled cream surface with fine horizontal weaving and barely-there tonal movement. Its pale, low-contrast appearance reads light and calm while retaining the visual depth of a substantial textile.

About this fabric

The warm cream ground is crossed by delicate horizontal threads, with faint beige and greyed tonal shifts creating an understated woven pattern rather than a strong graphic motif. At 407gsm, this is a weighty fabric suited to upholstery, while the 141.5cm usable width supports practical cutting for larger pieces. The design has a 42.5cm vertical repeat and 35.5cm horizontal repeat, giving the subtle pattern a measured rhythm across the cloth. A thread count of 20.8 threads per cm helps explain the close, textured surface visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this warm cream colourway on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its quiet tonal weave can soften stronger architectural lines. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted taupe for a light, relaxed scheme.

Use this soft cream woven design to bring quiet texture and light tonal movement to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zocalo Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
