About this fabric

This Idaho colourway from Larsen is a fabric, not a wallpaper, and it comes in a practical width of approximately 143cm. Its composition of 46% cotton, 40% wool, 7% acrylic, 6% polyester and 1% polyamide gives the cloth a natural, softly tactile feel with a touch of resilience. The weave is fine and regular, with a very small repeat of approximately V 1cm / H 1cm that keeps the surface visually quiet. In Highland Cream, the tone sits between ivory and pale oat, lifting the texture without looking stark or cold. The fabric appears well suited to relaxed interiors where a neutral needs a little warmth and a gentle, woven presence.

How to use it

Use Highland Cream on loose-cover seating, cushions or simple curtains where its warm cream tone can soften darker timber and stone. It pairs especially well with natural linen, light oak and muted taupe for an easy layered scheme.

A quietly textured cream that works beautifully across upholstery and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
