Highland Spice

Idaho FabricL9402-06

Highland Spice is a compact, tactile weave with a warm terracotta base and lighter flecks that soften the overall look. The small-scale texture gives the colourway a dry, earthy character rather than a flat solid finish.

About this fabric

This colourway from the Idaho collection is woven in a 46% cotton, 40% wool blend with 7% acrylic, 6% polyester and 1% polyamide, giving it a structured, cloth-like handle. The repeat is a neat 1cm by 1cm approximately, which reads as a finely patterned texture rather than a bold motif. At 143cm wide approximately, it is suited to a broad range of upholstery projects, and the √BM fire code supports contract-minded specification. In Highland Spice, the terracotta and rust notes sit over a creamy ground, so the fabric feels warm, grounded and slightly rustic with visible depth in the weave.

How to use it

Use Highland Spice on an armchair, banquette or ottoman where its warm spice tone can add colour without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and aged brass for an earthy, pulled-together scheme.

A warm, woven terracotta that brings earthy colour and subtle texture to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
