About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep spice brown with terracotta warmth, and the surface shows a fine, tactile weave rather than a smooth flat finish. The 130cm approximate width and 63% cotton, 20% viscose, 15% linen and 2% polyacrylic composition give it a natural, lightly slubby look with subtle tonal variation across the cloth. With no repeat noted, the design presents as an uninterrupted plain, allowing the texture and colour depth to do the work. It is a grounded, adaptable shade that feels more earthy than glossy, with enough visual movement to keep it interesting on larger pieces.

How to use it

Use Elliot Spice on a sofa, armchair or ottoman where its warm brown-red undertone can soften timber and leather. It also works well with travertine, olive and muted cream for an earthy, layered scheme.

A warm, textured spice tone that adds depth to simple upholstery and relaxed interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
