Menlo Smoke

Elliot FabricL9389-05

Menlo Smoke is a softly muted grey colourway with a fine herringbone look that reads calm and understated. The surface has a tailored, lightly textured feel that sits close to the cloth rather than looking heavy.

About this fabric

This Elliot fabric from Larsen is woven in 46% cotton, 42% wool and 12% polyester, with a width of approximately 130cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 2cm approx. In Menlo Smoke, the tiny herringbone structure is visible as a crisp, orderly texture rather than a bold pattern, giving the cloth a neat tailored character. The shade is a cool, pale smoke grey with a soft, slightly woolly depth that catches the light gently across the weave. Its balanced composition and modest repeat make it easy to pattern-match on larger upholstery projects or use for refined soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use Menlo Smoke on an armchair, banquette, or cushions where the subtle herringbone can add quiet detail. Its cool grey tone works especially well with white, oak, blackened metal, and softer blue-grey accents.

A quiet grey herringbone that adds texture without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
